Description of the problem | There is p14 recall on model year 2011-2014 chrysler, jeep and dodge vehicles. They are claiming my car which a 2011 jeep gc is not under this recall. Couple of months ago they installed a protective brake booster shield, when they actually should have replaced at the local dealership. I have brand new brakes and brake pads, the brake booster is simply leaking due to premature corrosion. Few days ago we almost crashed with our newborn daughter at 40 miles an hour because the brake booster was not working. We heard the air escaping when pressing the brake, but the vehicle did not stop. Chrysler needs to take responsibility and replace the brake boosters on these jeep grand cherokees. |
