Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that the rear passenger door could not be opened from inside or outside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (ron sayer chrysler jeep dodge in idaho falls, idaho) where it was diagnosed that the door actuator was faulty and needed to be replaced. The actuator was replaced and the failure was remedied. The contact indicated that both the rear driver's side and front passenger side doors later experienced the same failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 50,000. |
