Description of the problem | My 2015 jeep grand cherokee has an expansion valve leak, which is leaking into the vehicle (since fca decided to install the expansion valve in the car behind the dashboard). The leak is a serious health risk and environmental risk. The system also makes a constant humming noise since its low on freon. I had it fully recharged and in a matter of months all of the freon leaked into my car! This is poisonous gas leaking into peoples vehicles!! I called my local dealership and they quoted me upwards of $1,700 to fix the issue, which based on other online postings by jeep grand cherokee owners seems to be a common issue with the car. I have also recently updated the car |
