Description of the problem | Capless gas cap cracked and it comes right off housing. I screw it back in and drive on, probably safety issue. Jeep dealer can only order entire capless filler assembly. $450 part w/install. They redesigned fuel filler assembly on newer jeeps, but this current faulty design should be recalled at no codt to owner! Also the filler neck broke right at 36000 miles and couldnt fill with gas as it would act like it was full. Entire job $600 |
