Description of the problem | The vehicle recently rolled away after being placed into what i believed was "p" park. The electro in transmission shifter does not seem to function properly and fails to provide certainty as to when the vehicle is truly in park. The incident happened in my driveway and fortunately nobody was hurt in the incident. I have had electronic shifting cars before and this has never been an issue. The salesperson did mention that the 2016 models were going back to a traditional shifting mechanism, so he obviously knew of the issue. Unfortunately, i did not pick up on this during the sales process. This issue absolutely needs to be repaired. |
