Description of the problem | My 2015 jeep grand cherokee srt driver side ahr headrest deployed on its own while the vehicle was parked. There was no collision at all and the vehicle has never been in a collision. It made a very loud pop sound and you could hear the plastic parts in side the headrest break. You can not engage the headrest back into its normal locked position so that it is not deployed out. I went to my dealership and they told me to contact fiat @800-247-9753. I called them and explained my safety issue with this headrest and told them i wanted them to cover this under warranty. The person i spoke with gave me a case number and said a service specialist would have to contact me back in 24-48 hours to discuss them covering the safety issue. |
