Description of the problem | My passenger side active head restraint suddenly deployed, without warning, from my headrest while driving the vehicle. The vehicle was being driven on a straight residential street at approximately 35 mph. The vehicle was not involved in any type of front or rear collision and had not encountered any broken pavement, bumps, or potholes when the deployment occurred. No one was sitting in the passenger seat when the headrest deployed, but the noise and force of the deployment was startling. I'm obviously very concerned that the driver's side headrest may also deploy at any time while driving, possibly causing an accident or injury. |
