Description of the problem	On 7/17/2019, i got into my vehicle to run errands to note that the passenger side headrest had exposed wires and was not in its' normal position. I had not been involved in any accident and there was no force applied to the headrest. I did not attempt to fix it as i know nothing about vehicles and didn't want to cause any further damage. I went to the dealership who looked over at it from the drivers side window and stated the entire thing would have to be replaced. He didn't go around to get a closer look or anything- he just stated to me that because of the wiring the entire unit needed replacing-- he then went inside and told be it would be $800 since i didn't have an extended warranty and we would have to wait on the part to come in. I told him that i would need to think about it. I went home and researched the issue, stumbling across several complaints like mine. I was unable to rest the headrest, assumingely my plastic pieces had broke off as well. I called jeep customer service and to sum it up, i was given a case number and told to keep all of my receipts just in case something comes up later but she could not help me any further. My jeep has about 81,000 and has been very well maintained. It is very concerning that this issue is occurring so much and jeep is not doing anything about it to ensure the safety nor the satisfaction of their customers.
