Description of the problem | Throttle body housing failure: while driving to work on an interstate with speed limit of 60mph, vehicle would decelerate from 50mph down to 20mph and would not speed up regardless of how i pressed the gas pedal. The esc, etc, and mil indicators began to flash and the vehicle would not speed above 20-30mph. I had to have the vehicle towed to a local dodge dealer who diagnosed the issue as needing a replacement throttle body housing at a cost of $880 for that repair and replacement of a leaking coolant / radiator hose. |
