Description of the problem | Already on the highway driving at 70 mph, i noticed that it was harder to accelerate. I was pushing down on the gas pedal and my jeep was not picking up any speed. The tachometer was pushing the line in read between 7 & 8 as i would try to accelerate. Couple days later driving in town, it did it again only it took awhile to accelerate and get to 30-40 mph. Engine light came on and immediately took it to auto-zone to have it diagnosed. They told me to unplug the battery and have it sit for a couple of days to see if the engine light came off. Week later i'm still stuck without my vehicle. Reported it to mopar and they advised me to take it to the dealership and have it fixed. My jeep only has under 90k miles on it. I'm hoping this issue becomes a recall being that the stories have begun to surface late november 2018. |
