Description of the problem | While leaving a parking lot on or about april 15 2019, the vehicle kept killing when i attempted to accelerate. We had the vehicle towed to the dealership. We were told that the pcm had shorted out and had to be replaced. The new pcm was installed on april 20, 2019. The same problem started again on april 24, 2019. The vehicle had to be towed again to the dealership. The dealership traced the wires in the vehicle for over a week and contacted me on may 1, 2019 stating that they had determined that there was problem with the ignition coil which was corrected. We picked up the vehicle at approxiimately 5:00 p. M. On may 1st, drove the vehicle home about 10 miles, tried starting the vehicle 1 hour later and the same problem again. We will now have to have the vehicle towed for the 3rd time for the same issue. Why haven't the 2015 jeep patriots been recalled? |
