Description of the problem | On 5 occasions when driving the car around 70mph, the car starts to decelerate on its own with no indicators on the vehicle showing any issues. The vehicle will not accelerate over 55mph - you have to undertake an emergency move into an inside lane in order to be in a safe location and even when pressing the accelerator pedal it will not go over 55mph. After a few minutes the car will then start to accelerate again. On multiple occasions, it has almost created a s situation where the car has been hit from behind my vehicles behind due to the sudden deceleration. The vehicle has been take into the jeep dealership and they have not been able to diagnose the issue with the vehicle or reproduce it. |
