Description of the problem | I have a 2015 jeep patriot with 65,000 miles on it. Over the last 2 weeks, the vehicle has started to cut off out of nowhere while driving. The rpm drops to zero and then the car shuts off. No warning lights come on. No error codes show up. Nothing. It starts back up, usually with no issue but then does it again shortly after. It happens very sporadically and several times a day. It happens while going slow, going fast, while accelerating or decelerating. I have a 3 year old and we live on back roads. This is extremely dangerous. It is absolutely ridiculous that there are this many complaints about this same exact issue and there hasn't been a recall. |
