Description of the problem | A recall without a remedy was issued for part of the fuel pump system and it can shut the vehicle down in higher than average temperatures. I had this happen last june (2018) and the recall was issued in october. The original notice said it would be resolved by q4 of 2018. It is now april of 2019 and i live in florida, which means higher than average temperatures every day. I have two children under 5 and cannot risk the safety hazard of my car potentially shutting down in the middle of the highway! This should have been fixed 5 months ago! |
