Description of the problem	The vehicle transmission was stuck in neutral and could not be shifted to any other position. This occurred after backing the vehicle up a few feet and then trying to shift from reverse into drive. There is no known procedure for shutting off the engine with the shifter in any position other than park. Because of this, the vehicle could not be moved and the engine could not be shut off. The only good part of this was that it was in neutral - i can't imagine what could have happened of the transmission had gotten stuck in reverse or drive.
