Description of the problemTl* the contact owns a 2012 kia optima. The contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign number: 18v363000 (air bags). The contact took the vehicle to kia of cherry hill (1803 marlton pike w, cherry hill, nj 08002, (856) 471-1054) and the air bag indicator was illuminated; however, the dealer found other failures that would have cost the contact $8,500 to repair. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who stated that the $8,500 worth of repairs were not all needed and the air bag failure should have been repaired.
