Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 kia optima. While driving 35 mph, the contact noticed smoke under the hood of the vehicle. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and exited the vehicle. Five minutes later, the vehicle burst into flames. The fire department extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs.
