Description of the problem	I was with on the highway and noticed a noise that i hadn't heard before. I was about 40 miles from home so i headed towards home and as 8 was driving down the highway, the noise was gradually getting louder, i had no idea what it was, not one warning light came on. Suddenly while going just over 60mph, my car stalled, would not restart. While cars zoomed past me going faster than i. I made my way to the side of the road, luckily avoiding getting hit. Still no lights had come on until it stalled completely. I was thankful but shocked to hear the next day from my mechanic that a rod had come broke loose in my car and broke through the engine. That i had a car that needed a $6000+ new engine and that engine replacements for this car model and year are very hard to come by. I am disgusted.. I will never buy a kia again in my life. I called kia and asked them how could my car get this bad without any warning lights? They said they weren't sure, it should have. That certainly doesn't help me. I have a 6 year old car that is almost worthless. I still need to finish paying it off. Ridiculous.
