Description of the problem | As with the 1. 6 on the 2014 soul, a rod blew through this 2. 0 engine and killed it. The same exact issue with the 1. 6, which was recalled. Just driving on the highway and it started to slow quickly and very erratic, while knocking loudly. Definitely a safety issue. Luckily it stopped running while on an off ramp to get out of highway traffic. |
