Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 kia soul. While driving 40 mph, the headlights flickered on and off, switching from high beam to low beam. While driving 65 mph, the headlights shut off completely. The contact engaged the hazard lights in order to gain a source of lighting on the dark road. In addition, the contact smelled a faint burning odor inside the vehicle, which came from the headlights. Fort bend kia of rosenberg, texas was made aware of the failure, but did not have enough technicians available to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated that the failure was not included in a recall. The contact was provided with case number: 124-09-938. The failure mileage was 78,000. |
