Description of the problem | 3rd time check engine light went on in last several months. Error code po5oa car taken to dealer for repair last 2 times most likely repair is reprogram pcm last time at dealer i was told the code was not acknowledged by kia and have seen numerous reports of the same reply with others online. Since the check engine light can be an indicator of some serious issues i do not understand why it seems to be a non issue with the company about fixing the car computer error. 1)car was stationary when starting check engine light stayed on on 10/18/19 driving to dealer the light went off. Dealer indicated completed ecu logic improvement and had po5oa tsb for this code. 26/dec/19 cold start engine light on dealer preformed diagnostic testing found history code and performed hard reset and rest adaptive values. 1/mar/20 while driving check engine light went on. Went to autozone and have code po5oa again. |
