Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 lincoln continental. While driving approximately 60 mph, the front passenger side door erroneously opened. After stopping and closing the door, the failure continued. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and repaired. In addition, while operating the vehicle, the check engine indicator illuminated and the vehicle shook and jerked while changing gears. The vehicle was taken to ganley lincoln in middleburg heights, ohio where it was diagnosed that the engine was faulty and needed to be replaced. In addition, the material from the front driver seat ripped and exposed metal parts that made contact with the driver while seated. There were no injuries. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,700. |
