Description of the problem | Transmission will disengage leaving no propulsion (fwd or reverse). Similar to many other tsb's i've seen, which will ultimately result in serious incidents. Ford clearly knows about this issue, and my 12/99 letter to them was not answered. This is as serious a defect as one can have, and when it occurs on the highway it is scary. |
