Description of the problem	My 1995 merc . Sable . 2 months ago my right from spring broke and went through my tire i was able to controle it till we stoped but the car was so bad it needed a tow and $375. 00 to fix it. I was told it was a defective spring and should have been recalled. And they have fixed a lot of cars like mine with bad springs. Then just today the left front spring broke and again into the tire it went. This time it cost $260. 00 to fix it. And again i was told it was a defective spring from factory. This was a diferent auto repair in different state. He also said he thought there was a recall on them. I never got a recall notice from ford deal in hicksvill ohio where the car was bought new?? Is there a probelm with the springs if so who owes me the cost of fixing it .
