Description of the problem | My vehicle has an issue where the passenger airbag is not active when an adult occupant is sitting in the passenger seat. The passenger airbag indicator lights up and indicates the passenger airbag is "off" when an adult occupant is sitting in the passenger seat. Even though there is an open recall (nhtsa campaign number: 16v244000) for this particular problem onmy vehicle. However, when i enter my vehicle identification number into the nhtsa website, it does not show any outstanding recalls for my vehicle. Nhtsa and nissan should double check the vehicles affected as part of the recall. The number of vehicles affected maybe greater than originally estimated since my vehicle was not part of the recall, yet it is experiencing the exact same symptom as outlined in nhtsa campaign number: 16v244000 |
