Description of the problem | I was driving on the highway, heading home and randomly the hood on the car flew open. I believe the hood latch is faulty due to the recall. I was driving at 40 mph on the hwy. My view was obstructed but i safely pulled the vehicle in to the service lane. I hopped out the car to check the damages and notice the front panels on both sides of my vehicle was broke because of the hood latch flying opened. Luckily my windshield did not break due to this because as the driver i've could've been injured. The hood would not safely closed and i had to drive slow on the street to make home safely. Geico insurance has pictures and more explanations of the damages. |
