Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 nissan pathfinder. While driving approximately 30 mph, there was a loud abnormal noise coming from the engine compartment and the temperature gauge indicator illuminated. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and powered off the engine. The vehicle was restarted and the engine began to overheat. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence and later taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the radiator fan motor assembly failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 57,212. |
