Description of the problem | The hood of the vehicle will noticeably begin to move up and down rapidly at speeds over 60mph--if its windy the movement becomes even worse. I took it the dealership and was told nissan is aware of this issue and there is no fix for it. That the rapid movement does not represent a safety issue so the consumer will have to accept it. I was not told or warned about this issue prior to my purchasing the vehicle, but the dealership was aware of it. Nissan corp. Had already notified the service dept. Of the dealerships that this was an issue that could not be corrected in both the 2013/2014 pathfinders. I hope the hood catch and mounts can hold up to the constant vibration and movement. It is also an unnecessary distraction and unnerving to the driver when it is driven on the highway. |
