Description of the problem | I started seeing the airbag indicator flashing on my dashboard. I took it to nissan car dealer. They told me that there was a water bottle that rolled under the passenger seat and caused the sensor to break. I believe that is a bad design from nissan, that allows a critical sensor to break easily by a soft water bottle that rolled under the seat, cause the airbag not to deploy, which can cause serious injuries to me or a family member sitting in the passenger seat. There is a recall already related to that sensor, that can cause the airbag not to deploy, but i think protecting the sensor under the seat is a very serious issue, that needs to be investigated. I was driving the vehicle for sometime before noticing that there might be an airbag issue. |
