Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 nissan pathfinder. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to accelerate while attempting to drive and would jerk. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and powered off the engine. Once restarted, the vehicle was able to drive normally; however, the failure recurred numerous times. The contact also stated that the failure was intermittent. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to brandon nissan (located at 9920 e adamo dr, tampa, fl 33619, (813) 305-7681) where it was diagnosed that the valve failed and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 15,120. |
