Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 nissan pathfinder. While accelerating from a stop, the vehicle failed to accelerate. The contact coasted the vehicle over to the side of the road, waited ten minutes, restarted the vehicle, and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The contact discovered that there was an unknown recall regarding the transmission and took the vehicle to downey nissan (7321 firestone blvd, downey, ca 90241, (888) 483-6228). The dealer stated that they could only could reprogram the transmission. The contact was also informed that the warranty would not cover the repair due to the vehicle being salvaged. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 49,000. |
