Description of the problem | We bought the 2014 pathfinder used in march 2017 with approximately 8,000 miles on it. Both visors clicked when putting them back up and would not stay in the full up position. In march 2018, the driver's visor fell and will not stay in either the full up or full down position, thus obstructing the driver's vision. The broken plastic is visible inside the fabric of the visor. I had to pin it to the roof to ensure safe driving. I thought the problem was due to misuse, but now i see this is a defect in the product. I don't see that nissan has provided free repairs, however. Since this is an obvious defect, it should be a recall and the visors replaced free to customers. |
