Description of the problem | Noticed a rattling coming from engine compartment towards the from of my vehicle when in the drive thru. Took it to the repair shop. Bearings in the radiator cooling fan have failed requiring replacement. Have been told by mechanic will cause catastrophic engine damage due to fan breaking apart and pieces going into engine. Searching online shows this is a wide spread problem happening at 30-70k miles on these vehicles. |
