Description of the problem | This vehicle has 59,800 miles on it, driving home from work the vehicle started riding really rough and engine started making a knocking sound. Drove it straight to nissan to have it looked at. Technician called the next morning to inform me it has a bad fan motor assembly. Its is a known issue and parts are on back order for weeks. Nissan is well aware of this issue with the 2015 pathfinder but still makes the consumer pay all or part of the repair. Only after complaining did i receive an offer to pay 70% of the repair. Although i am grateful for the offer i still do not feel i should be responsible for any of the cost on a known issue of a part being defective. Hopefully they will soon issue a recall and others wont have to go through what i am going through. I am very disappointed in the quality of the product and the cost i will incur to have it repaired. |
