Description of the problem | The inside front drivers' and passenger side door handles repeatedly break and need to be replaced. This is a known issue among pathfinder owners as well as nissan dealers. When broken, the front driver and passenger cannot exit the vehicle unless the doors are unlocked and then opened from the outside. Again, when broken, and they break repeatedly, the driver and passenger cannot exit their own door, which seems like a safety issue. We've replaced both door handles once, and have to replace the passenger's handle a second time. The first time this happened, the car was at 20,000 miles. It's now at 70,000 miles, and has happened for the third time. |
