Description of the problem | Stop light fuses have blown repeatedly since 9-9-98. Nissan performed a "95 quest harness campaign" recall on 12-28-98. However, the stop light fuse blew again sometime in february. I don't know exactly when because there is no warning light to alert driver to this dangerous condition. I learned of it only when an angry driver nearly rear ended me at a stop light. Faulty stop lights are very dangerous since there is no warning light. On march 2, 1999 i returned the car and the company has determined they cannot find and fix the problem. They say it has nothing to do with the recall. I am to continue driving at my risk. This is a very irresponsible possition for a company to take with a potentially dangerous condition like this. |
