Description of the problem | The brake light fuse blew-up five times within a two-month period, thus causing the brake lights not operate when brake is applied. I have contacted nissan about this. They said they are recalling 1994 models of quest mini-van due to this defect (nhtsa campaign # 96v253004) but they said my car is not included because the vin is not on their list. This is a major safety item because the car driver following you won't have any means of warning if you are slowing down/stopping. He could bump/crash onto your car. I have replaced the original fuse with those bought from the dealer. Since the car's warranty expired, i would like to find out if you could help me and other owners of this model of car before i/we bring it to the repair shop. Thank you |
