Description of the problem | Driving on a hot day, 104, car lost acceleration. Did not overheat. Would not accelerate above 60 mph. Parked car overnight and the next day it ran fine. Had transmission fluid checked and mechanic dropped pan but so no signs of mechanical failure of the transmission. My opinion - fuel vaporization? |
