Manufacurer | Nissan North America, Inc. |
Brand | NISSAN |
Model | ROGUE |
Model Year | 2012 |
File date | 03/10/17 |
Component | POWER TRAIN |
Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | At 49,935 miles, the transfer case and drive shaft (while driving) leaked and needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,514 + car rental for 2 days. The engine and power train are covered by nissan's warrantee only until 5 year,50,000 miles. As i would believe that this is a nissan design and manufacturing problem, and that other 2012 nissan rogue are having similar problems, i would very much appreciate if the nhtsa would investigate this to determine if a recall is warranted. Thank you. |
