Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 nissan rogue. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 mph, the brake warning indicator illuminated. The contact also heard a loud abnormal noise. The failure occurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle was driven to the dealer for diagnostic testing. After the third technician, it was diagnosed that the brakes need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. In addition, the contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle decelerated independently. The contact smelled an unknown odor coming from the engine. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician stated that the transmission had failed. In addition, the contact had experienced the front wind shield cracking.
