Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 nissan rogue. While driving over 30 mph, the tire pressure monitoring system (tpms) warning indicator illuminated. The dealer (valdosta nissan cadillac, 3685 inner perimeter rd, valdosta, ga 31602, (229) 242-7325) was notified of the failure more than twice, but was unable to replicate and diagnose the failure. The dealer later indicated that the sensor needed to be replaced for the rear passenger tire. The sensor was stated to have been replaced by the dealer's mechanic, but the tpms indicator remained illuminated after the repair. The vehicle was not repaired again. The manufacturer was notified and stated that they would follow-up within 48 hours. The contact had not heard back from the manufacturer. The vin and failure mileage were not available. *tt*jb |
