Description of the problem | I just took my vehicle in for it's normal maintenance (oil change/filters, etc.) today - 7/12/19. All is in good condition, except i asked nissan to look at the flashing airbag light that started about a week ago for no apparent reason (o/a 7/5/19). They told me that my front air bag sensor is not working, and that it is not covered and would cost me apx $1,020 to fix. This is an apparent safety issue, and i did nothing to my vehicle for this kind of thing to stop working. I am concerned for my safety and am very reliant on my car to get to and from work, etc. I believe, due to the safety aspect alone, this should be a recall notice and fixed. If you could please look into this, it would be very much appreciated. |
