Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 nissan rogue. While driving 65 mph on the highway, the vehicle shut off. The contact stated that the speed reduced to 20 mph as the vehicle was being pulled off to the shoulder. The vehicle would restart, but shut off again even with the cruise control activated. The vehicle was able to be restarted and was slowly driven home. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who stated that the transmission failed. The dealer (abeloff nissan, 3259 pa-611, bartonsville, pa 18321, (877) 715-4935) stated that there was no failure with the vehicle. After the vehicle left the dealer, the check engine indicator illuminated. The independent mechanic confirmed the transmission failure, but the dealer insisted that there was no failure and sent the contact a computer printout to back up their opinion.
