Description of the problem | As with many years before , the nissan rogue has had transmission safety issues. While driving in the left lane on rt. 95 in florida the vehicle (once hot) almost completely shuts down. The power is all but lost , forcing us to get off the roadway before we are hit at highway speeds from behind. This has happened on several occasions over the past two years. Dealer says faulty transmission is to blame and must be replaced. I'm in the process of having the trans. Replaced now . I feel that since nissan has known about this issue for 10 years now, a recall should have happened long before this and prior to someone being seriously injured or worse. Please advise .. |
