Description of the problem | While driving the car on a highway in heavy traffic, it began to shake and make a loud noise. Within a couple of minutes the car began to slow down and would not accelerate. After pulling over in the middle of heavy traffic the car completely stopped. The car was towed to a nissan dealer and the it was found that the cvt had an internal failure with no movement. Although nissan was contacted immediately they refused to assist with the repairs of the car because the mileage deemed the car out of warranty. There were no indication that this problem was going to occur. The transmission was defective and faulty and had to be replaced. After researching the problem, i discovered that nissan has had problems with the transmissions of rogues in the past. The vehicle was then towed to a aaa car care center for repair. |
