Description of the problem | My daughter was stopped at a red light and when she tried to accelerate the car wouldn't move. She was able to get to the side of the road and after a few mins & a trip to advance auto parts & then a mechanic she was told to bring it home. Then the check engine light came on. She pulled into another advanced auto parts and they reset it. She lost power while driving over 50 mph on back roads and the interstate several more times. This car is not safe to drive. We were told she needs a new transmission and it only has 82k miles. She's a high school student and doesn't have $3,700 so the car just sits while she still makes payments. |
