Description of the problem | The nissan rogue 2013 has approximately 70,000 miles on it, and after extensive research have found my vehicle is not the only one that has a faulty cvt installed. Nissan is fully aware of the hazard they have been selling since 2008. Their vehicles enter "safe mode" after driving longer than an hour due to transmission fluid overheating, as a result of not having a cooler/fan. This safe mode causes your vehicle to lose power immediately and is very dangerous when driving on interstate or even highly trafficked areas. I have contacted nissan customer service and they refuse to claim responsibility. This mechanical issue cannot be found by nissan car repairsmen because it is factory installed that way. Please get recall. I have a 4 month old baby who's life is at stake |
