Description of the problemWhile driving in temperatures under 40 degrees the interior windows fog within minutes of being in the car when the heat is on. Turning on defrost and opening the windows does not help. I've had to pull over numerous times to prevent a car accident because the visibility is so bad. The problem seems to be worse at night, but does happen during the day too. When the windows appear to be clear and the car is left outside for at least 30 minutes, whatever moisture is left in the car freezes to the inside of all the windows creating a layer of ice. It has taken well over 30 minutes and even close to an hour to get it to clear enough to be able to safely drive. But once you begin driving again the fog almost immediately returns. There has also been unexplainable moisture in the carpets as well as in the spare tire compartment. During a 3 hour car trip there was a layer of ice on all the windows that never cleared the entire time, despite the car being warm, defrost on, and it being sunny weather. The car has been in six times to two different dealerships and no one can seem to figure out what is wrong.
