Description of the problem	While driving on a sunny day on a city street my car suddenly slammed on the brakes while driving under a highway overpass. It did this on it's own in clear weather while in motion. It appeared the car reacted on it's own to the shadow of the highway i was about to drive under. There was no car in front of me and i in fact was about to accelerate to make a left turn after going under the overpass. The car brakes suddenly when going into the shadow of the overpass. It startled me and my automatic reaction was to switch my foot to the brake and when i did i could feel the brake was already depressed all the way to the floor. The car briefly stopped and then the brake let up and i then could continue driving a couple seconds later. It was scary and dangerous. Someone could've been behind me and hit me. I was rattled for 30 minutes afterward. I am unsure of the exact date this occurred but i gave the best estimate i could down below.
