Description of the problem | My backup camera would freeze about 2-3 seconds after putting in reverse. It didn't matter if i was still moving or stopped, it would freeze. It was happening every time i backed up. Eventually the live view would come back, but i could never trust the screen or the sensors while backing up. I recently took it into a dealership for a diagnostic, and they said there is an update available to the software to fix it. I would guess my car is not the only one with this problem and want to report this so that if others are having the same problem, the software update can be covered by nissan. Similar nissan/infiniti models are doing a recall for a software update to the cameras; i'm not sure why my vin is not included in that campaign. |
